Terms of Service
Last Revised: [insert date]
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Christianity.Talk, including our AI conversation guide (“Talk”), our articles, and our “Connect with Someone” contact form. By using this site, you agree to these Terms in full. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. We may update these Terms from time to time, so it’s worth checking back occasionally.
What This Service Is
Christianity.Talk exists to help people explore questions about God, faith, and what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, through:
- Talk — an AI-powered conversation guide available directly on this site.
- Articles — written content to read at your own pace.
- Connect with Someone — a form you can fill out so a real person from our team can personally follow up with you.
We are not counselors, therapists, medical professionals, or licensed clergy. Nothing here — in an AI conversation, an article, or a follow-up conversation — substitutes for professional medical, mental health, or legal advice. If you’re in crisis or considering harming yourself, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line right away.
Who May Use This Service
You must be at least 18, or have the permission and consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use Talk or Connect with Someone. If you’re a parent or guardian permitting a minor to use this site, you accept these Terms on their behalf and are responsible for their use of it. We may restrict or end access if we believe, at our discretion, that a user is under 18 without appropriate consent.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit or share content that’s unlawful, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory;
- Interfere with or disrupt the site or its AI systems;
- Attempt to breach the security or authentication of the site;
- Impersonate another person or entity;
- Place unreasonable load on our systems or infrastructure;
- Publicly republish or share the contents of a private conversation without permission.
Conversations & User Submissions
Anything you voluntarily share through Talk is treated as non-confidential and non-personal, to the fullest extent the law allows, and may be used in de-identified, aggregate form to improve the Service. Information you submit through Connect with Someone (like your name and contact details) is used only to follow up with you personally. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Links to Other Resources
This site may link to articles, resources, or organizations run by others, purely as a convenience. We don’t control those resources, accessing them is at your own risk, and we disclaim responsibility for their content.
No Warranties
This Service — Talk, articles, and Connect with Someone — is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or outcome of any conversation or content here.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Christianity.Talk and its team aren’t liable for damages arising from your use of this site.
Indemnification
You agree to hold Christianity.Talk harmless from third-party claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit.
Disputes
If a disagreement arises out of these Terms, we’ll first try to resolve it directly, in good faith, between the parties involved.
Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect.
No Assignment
You may not transfer or assign your rights under these Terms to anyone else.
